The Rabbit Cycle is a turn-based ecological simulation built entirely inside a spreadsheet.

Each turn, rabbits forage, reproduce, and struggle against shifting weather, scarce grass, and unexpected field events.

Your choices don’t control the rabbits directly—you shape the conditions they must survive in.

Across 25 rounds, seasons change, predators pass overhead, shelters open or collapse, and resources fluctuate.

The field remembers every past turn, while future turns remain hidden until revealed, creating a sense of unfolding narrative inside the grid itself.

Designed as an experiment in spreadsheets as game spaces, the project explores how formulas, conditions, and cells can become rules, terrain, and story events.

Survive the season.

Watch the ecosystem grow—or collapse.

And discover what a “game” becomes when the world is made of rows and columns.
